Yum yum yum. I got bored with those recipes and probably couldn't have stayed on the diet without this book. The recipes in this book are absolutely delicious, creative, and beautiful. They are much better than the recipes in the first book.
There are also letters from people that have tried the diet as well as other information on each phase of the diet. I like that the recipes are labeled with the phase the recipe can be used with. It is not just a cookbook. This is a great cookbook. Lots of colorful pictures and great recipes.
My other complaint is that the recipes are too simple and not very tasty. I have a strict policy against using artificial sweetners. I wouldn't have bought this book if I'd seen it first. A lot of the recipes are geared to people who crave sweets. As a diet cookbook, sugar has been replaced by artificial sweetners.
she is very happy with The South Beach Diet Cookbook. where else to look ,but Amazon. i gave the book to my daughter-in-law for a gift after the birth of my granddaughter. she had asked me to look to see if i could find a copy for her.
So glad I bought it. This adds so much flexibility and variety to the SBD. It even includes delicious, gourmet recipes from famous chefs that are all approved for the diet.
